Please note the sizes of the paintings. These paintings are all different sizes but most are in the 8 x 10 inch range. Most recent work appears first. I’m painting outside more and a smaller format works best plus I also have a very small “studio” and house. All work painted outside (plein air) is marked as such.

Hoop Dreams, 11 x 14 inches, oil. ©Ann Scott 2024. I have always been interested in nocturnes and have painted quite a few. Since it has been raining non-stop for a long time lately I thought I'd tackle some new nocturnes.
Late Night TV, 11 x 14 inches, oil. ©Ann Scott 2024. This is my neighborhood at night. This is the time of year that bears wake up so when I get up in the middle of the night I like to see if any are out there wandering around. No matter what time I get up my neighbor's TV is always on. My guess is he falls asleep on the couch. Sorry to say I haven't seen any bears yet.
